Who qualifies for the VEU air conditioning discount?
Most Victorian homeowners, and many renters, can qualify. It depends on the heater you're replacing, your property and the system being installed. Send us your details and we'll check it for you for free.
Do I have to pay anything?
Yes. Under the VEU program, air conditioning upgrades have a minimum customer co-payment, so there's always an amount for you to pay. Your written quote shows the full price, the VEU discount and your co-payment before you commit to anything.
How long does installation take?
Most split system installs are done in a single day. From first enquiry to a working system usually takes around two weeks, depending on your install and installer availability.
Do I have to do any paperwork?
Very little. Our accredited provider prepares the VEU forms and compliance records. You'll need to sign the paperwork and may be asked to confirm a few details about your home.
What brands do you install?
Rinnai, Midea, Carrier, Hisense, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Panasonic. Every system we install under VEU must be an approved product and come with at least a five-year product warranty.
I'm renting. Can I still do this?
Often, yes. You'll need your landlord's written permission for the install. We can walk you and your landlord through how it works.
What happens to my old heater?
Some VEU upgrades require the old heater to be decommissioned, for example disconnecting an old gas heater. Where that applies, it's done by a licensed tradesperson and included in your quote.
