When providing services under the VEU Program, Zeronova works with accredited providers to create VEECs, which are used to discount the cost of your services. A minimum customer co-payment applies.

From enquiry to warm air: what happens during your install

A walk-through of the Zeronova process, from your first enquiry to the day your new system is running.

1. Your enquiry

You send us a few details: where you live, what heating you have now and what you're after. We'll usually come back within a few hours on business days.

2. Eligibility and sizing

We work out which VEU upgrade suits your home and what size system you need. We may ask for photos of your current heater, your switchboard and where the new units would go.

3. Your written quote

You'll get a quote showing the product, the installation, the full price, the VEU discount and your co-payment. Take your time. Nothing goes ahead until you accept.

4. Installation day

  • Licensed installers arrive at the booked time
  • Indoor and outdoor units are fitted, wired and tested
  • Where required, your old heater is decommissioned
  • Photos are taken for the VEU compliance records
  • We show you how to use your new system

Most split systems are done in a day. Ducted and multi-split installs can take longer depending on the home.

5. Paperwork and follow-up

You'll sign the VEU paperwork, and our accredited provider handles the rest. The program also runs audits, so you might get a call or visit to check the install. That's normal and it helps keep standards high.
